tile (2021)

The prints depict close ups of cropped photographs of buildings floating on a black background. Both images displayed are taken of building in Norwich earmarked for development or destruction. The photographs record the outside cladding of these buildings. Each image shows a cropped section of the building resulting in a geometric tile, each tile becomes an object existing in the void of the print.

tile was selected to feature in the OUTPOST Members Show 2023, selected by Hannah Wallis. The exhibition ran from 24 August - 1 October 2023.
